A MAN was taken to hospital after falling down a bank at Parkes Hall Pool in Woodsetton.
Paramedics were called to the beauty spot on Parkes Hall Road just before 7.30pm on Sunday evening (August 2).
An ambulance and the Hazardous Area Response Team attended the scene, where they pulled the man to safety.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to Russells Hall Hospital for further care.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7:26pm last night to reports a patient had fallen down a bank at Parkes Hall Pool in Woodsetton.
"We sent one ambulance, as well as the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found one patient, a man, who’d slipped down a bank. Once staff extricated the patient to safety he was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and conveyed to Russell’s Hall Hospital for further treatment.”
