THE Police in North Worcestershire have been praised on their performance.
It comes from The North Worcestershire Policing Board, made up of police authority members and local councillors, which said the police provide a “first rate service”.
Tony Ward OBE, chair of the Policing Board, said: “Supt Adrian Pass and his team are to be congratulated. Their performance has been excellent over the past year.
“I hope members of the public are reassured that despite these difficult times the police continue to provide a first rate service for the people in North Worcestershire.”
During 2011/12, compared to the previous year, there were 171 fewer victims of domestic burglary, 21 fewer victims of robbery and 3,756 fewer reports of antisocial behaviour The percentage of total crimes solved increased from 28 per cent to 32 per cent.
