FOR the first time in its 24 year history, the annual North Cotswolds Rotary charity golf day has been won outright by a woman.
the individual winner of the Honess Cup was Gill Ashton. Colin Gatenby was narrowly beaten into second place, and Else Ogden was hot on his heels in third. The competition was played over 18 holes with a shot gun start.
Winners of the team prize were Gill Ashton, Else Ogden, Nicole Arkell and Charles Arkell. Colin Gatenby won the Clifford and Webb Cup for the best Rotarian score.Nearest the pin 6th hole and 12th holes were one by Nick Southwell and Nick Haywood respectively. And longest drive went to Charlie Davies.
