A VEGAN baker is taking the leap to her own Hereford city centre premises this weekend.
It's been a difficult year on the high street in Hereford, with a number of shops closing over the last 12 months.
But now Vic Blandford, of Vic's Vegan Bakes, is joining the growing number of independent shopkeepers and restaurateurs placing their faith in the community by taking the plunge to bring life to an empty unit in the city.
The vegan specialist has been creating fabulously colourful bespoke cakes from her mother's kitchen for the past two years.
With a range of vegan 'buttercream' wedding cakes, cupcakes, baked doughnuts and other sweet treats, the baker offers an individually tailored service.
The brand new shop in Church Street's Capuchin Yard will be opening on October 19.
