A PEDESTRIAN has been taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries after she was hit by a car outside Dunelm this afternoon.
An ambulance service spokesperson said paramedics were called to reports that a person had been hit by a car in the car park of the Holmer Road store at 1.30pm today.
Paramedics assessed and treated one woman at the scene before taking her to hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
