THE Air Ambulance from Strensham landed on the bowling green in Ledbury, after a Bank Crescent resident fell ill, at a private address.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “The air ambulance has to land where it can, as close as possible to the medical emergency.”
The spokesman declined to give details of the emergency but revealed the man was taken by the Air Ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, shortly after 3pm on October 29.
