A LAND ROVER was stolen from near Ledbury after keys were stolen from the property where it was parked.

West Mercia Police said the green Land Rover Defender, which has a registration plate ending GOC, was stolen overnight on January 6.

Anyone with information of the theft, which was from a property on Bosbury Road in Cradley, should contact police on 101, giving reference number 81s060120.

They added the chance of becoming a victim of car key burglary can be reduced using simple methods.

"A car key burglary is a crime where an individual breaks into the home with the specific aim of removing the car keys and stealing the vehicle," a police spokesperson said.

"Simple crime prevention methods are the most effective way to deter potential thieves.

"The more difficult you make it for them, the less likely they are to bother.

"Crime prevention can found on the West Mercia Police website."
