A FLY-TIPPER has struck down a narrow road that connects two main routes into Hereford.
Herefordshire Council said the items, which includes sofas and chairs, were left on Gatehouse Road, the relief road between Holme Lacy and Ross Road.
"It's the New Year but that doesn't mean we're not still dealing with the same issues, in particular fly tipping," a spokesperson said.

The maximum penalty for fly tipping is a £50,000 fine and/or five years imprisonment.
Herefordshire Council advises people who spot fly-tippers in the act to make a note of any vehicle used, including model, colour and registration number. If it is safe to do so without being seen, they should take a photograph or video.
They should note the fly-tippers' clothes, and distinguishing features, as well anything that was said and the speakers' accents.
