Virtually all bookings for Ledbury Community Hall, Lawnside Road, have now been cancelled for the foreseeable future, because of the coronavirus crisis.
But hall manager, Martin Eager said he had received confirmation from the Blood Transfusion Service that their Blood Donor Day on Thursday March 26 is going ahead, “and they intend to honour if possible the rest of the year’s bookings”.
As the situation stands at present, there will be further blood donation days at Ledbury Community Hall on April 23, June 25, July 24, August 20, October 8 and November 5.
Mr Eager said: It’s great to have some positive news about the Blood Donor day, especially as many may have incorrectly assumed it had been cancelled.
“The hall will be deep cleaned prior to the day and the blood donor team will be taking additional hygiene measures to ensure the well being of everybody involved.”
