DEFENDER Jamie Grimes is the fourth new face to sign for Hereford FC.

The 29-year-old, played 33 games for National League South side Ebbsfleet United last season.

After starting as a youth at Leicester City and then Swansea City he has played for a host of sides including Kidderminster Harriers, Dover Athletic, Cheltenham Town and Macclesfield Town.

He made his Football League debut with Cheltenham in August 2017 and played 43 matches that season.

Hereford manager Josh Gowling told the club's website:“Jamie is a player I know very well.

"He is strong, athletic and will balance the team out well due to being a left footed centre back.

"He is the ultimate professional and will expect the best from his team mates. I am delighted to get him over the line and he will be a big part of the culture at this Football Club."
