THERE was a great display of art by members of the Ludlow Art Society.
The summer exhibition takes place every year during August.
It was held in St Laurence’s church giving something extra for visitors and worshippers. There were in the order of 100 different pictures on display.
Acrylic, oils and watercolour paintings, along with sculptures and drawings, could be seen as part of the society’s summer exhibition. Ludlow and the south Shropshire Hills provide a wonderful place for artists to work on a range of subjects including architecture, historic places, markets, churches, landscapes, birds and wildlife.
The exhibition finished Monday.
