- The Bulls failed to make an impact in the opening 15 minutes with Alex Bray coming closest with a shot wide.
- Jacob Jagger-Cane was next to go close after being played into the box by Kyle Finn.
- But his shot was denied by the leg of goalkeeper Liam Griffiths.
- At the opposite end Ludlow almost took an unlikely lead when a quick break resulted in King having a free header at the goalkeeper.
- Ryan Lewis then fed through Chris Breakwell whose low shot was saved.
- Ludlow goalkeeper Griffiths was the stand-out player denying Liam Bishop with his leg before also denying Pope and Finn.
- Bulls midfielder Finn kept probing and sent a free-kick inches wide before also blazing over.
- The opener eventually came moments before half-time when hero of the half Griffiths was caught in possession and Alex Bray closed him down before walking into an empty net.
- The Bulls started the second half how they finished the first and Bray almost netted his second after meeting Finn's cross at the back post, but couldn't find the target.
- Martin Riley was next to test the Ludlow defence but his header was saved by Griffiths before the clearence was deflected onto the bar and then the post.
- The second goal came in the 54th minute when Kyle Finn's effort rattled the bar before falling to Liam Bishop who netted from close range.
- Hereford made a host of changes mid-way through the second half and substitute Rowan Liburd held the ball up for Kieran Thomas to net a third.
- Liburd was on the score sheet moments later after being played through by Jagger-Cane and sliding past the goalkeeper.
- Hereford hit their fifth goal came with a minute remaining with Rhys Davies finding space before crossing to Tom Owen-Evans to slide home.
