SIR – Although for most of the day the 44 bus service between Worcester and Malvern is scheduled to run at 15-minute intervals I have found numerous instances when this is not the case with large gaps in the service and then several buses arriving close together.
Recently, for instance there was a delay in the service late morning and when I got to Worcester I noted two 44 buses leaving the bus station within a minute of each other.
On my return journey I had a 40-minute wait at Lower Wick and then two buses turned up and by the time we got to Malvern we had been joined by a third.
Traffic conditions were normal and I cannot understand how this situation arises.
It is almost as though there is no one trying to resolve the problem once the timetable starts to fall apart.

Malvern
