IT’s not just a rumour, the Rumours of Fleetwood Mac anniversary tribute show is on tour.

And the good news is, Malvern Theatres will be a stop, this March.

Miss that, there’s another chance to go your own way to another nearby venue, which in this case will be Cheltenham Town Hall, in April.

A spokesman said: “Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, the world’s finest tribute to Fleetwood Mac, returns to the stage in 2019 with its ‘Anniversary Tour’, a brand new show celebrating 50 years of the very best of Fleetwood Mac, including a very special blues set paying tribute to Fleetwood Mac’s legendary Peter Green era.

“Channelling the spirit of Fleetwood Mac at their very best, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac offers a unique opportunity for fans, both old and new, to rediscover the songs and performances that have ensured Fleetwood Mac’s place as one of the most loved groups of all time.”

The spokesman added: “Personally endorsed by Fleetwood Mac founding member, Mick Fleetwood, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac is the ultimate tribute to one of rock and roll’s most remarkable groups.”

Fleetwood Mac are indeed widely hailed as one of the first super groups and many of the band's tracks are iconic, from the early instrumental classic "Albatross" to the critically-acclaimed "Rumours" album of 1977 and beyond.

As Punk Rock swept most before it, this album reminded music fans what well-crafted rock could be.

And before Abba wore their hearts on sequinned sleeves, Fleetwood Mac were putting out songs about real relationships going wrong, including of course, Go Your Own Way.

This is a track so famous, it even features in the hit movie, Forrest Gump.

The date for the diary for the Malvern show is March 27, at 7.45pm.
