TODAY'S picture comes from August 1970 and shows the aftermath of a lorry running out of control as it made its way along The Tything. Stirling Antiques bore the brunt of the impact, while Fellows Antiques, just out of shot, was also affected. Staff at the Eric Williams cycle shop were left breathing a sigh of relief.
