UPDATE: Some customers have received texts in the last hour to say: "Good news, your water should gradually return to normal but sometimes the water may be slightly discoloured."
And STW has taken the incident off their website, indicating the pipe has been repaired and things are returning to normal.
Original story:
WORK has begun to repair a burst water pipe, that has caused low water pressure in Battenhall.
Severn Trent Water (STW) customers in the area have been sent messages about the leak, warning: "Your area may have no water or low water pressure.
"We aim to resolve by 4pm.
"Your water should gradually return to normal."
And on STW's website, a statement said: "Customers may experience supply interruptions due to a burst water pipe.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused"
