A NEW sporting craze has hit Worcester.
Bubbleball, or Zorb ball, in which teams stand inside giant inflatable balls, has been played at Brickfields Park in Worcester.
This game has the same rules as football, but players can freely knock each other out of the way when in the bubbles.
The one hard fast rule is ‘no bumping from behind’.
Each player stands inside their bubble with only their feet exposed, and can knock their opponents out of the way to win possession of the ball.
Other games can also be played using the bubbles, including Sumo Wrestling, British Bulldog, Colonel Mayhem and Last Man Standing.
Eloise, one of the University of Worcester Students playing bubbleball, said: “It is fantastic, but don’t try it with a hangover.”
