A HISTORIC cricket pavilion in Worcester has now been completely demolished prior to the building being moved to a museum.
The Cinderella Ground Pavilion, which was the original home of Worcestershire County Cricket Club, is being removed to allow for a redevelopment of the ground.
The pavilion is being dismantled piece by piece and will be rebuilt at the Avoncroft Museum near Bromsgrove.
Last week, the Worcester News reported that work had started to demolish the historic pavilion.
Work to remove the pavilion includes each piece of the building being taken apart and given a digital tag which corresponds to a 3D model of the building created by students from the University of Wolverhampton.
Once at Avoncroft, it will be reassembled and turned into an exhibit.
