MUSIC lovers are being invited to summer concerts being held this month.

The singers of Evesham's University of the Third Age will be showcasing their talents with a free performance being held this Tuesday, July 16.

The group, which is led by a Pershore singer and vocal coach, meet weekly and work on arrangements in three-part harmony across a range of styles.

The performance will take place at the Methodist Church, Bridge Street, from 2.30pm.

Meanwhile singing ensemble Vocal High are performing two performances. Led by singer and vocal coach Paula Evans, and pianist Chris Long, the group of singers includes members from Pershore and Worcester.

They perform arrangements of pop and rock songs to shanties and traditional music.

The group will be performing at Huntingdon Hall in Worcester on Saturday, July 20, at the invitation of Australian group The Spooky Men's Chorale, doing a 20-minute support slot and singing alongside the Spooks.

Vocal High also have their own Summer Concert the night before, Friday, July 19, at the Baptist Church on Broad Street, Pershore, from 7.30pm.
