COMMUNITY groups received a welcome boost when they given cash donations raised from this year's Pershore Carnival.
At the annual general meeting of the committee on Monday cash donations were given to a number of local groups.

The procession collection raised £1,460 which was awarded to this year’s nominated beneficiary, Pershore Warhorse Memorial Fund. Pershore Talking Newspaper, Pershore Volunteer Centre and South Worcester Lifesaving & Lifeguard Club were also among those to receive cash.

The next meeting of the committee is being held at Pershore Town Football Club on Monday, October 21, from 7.30pm.
