ALL in all, it's been 40 years since The Wall, and a local audience can mark the special anniversary with a Pink Floyd tribute act.

Fans will tell you, for Pink Floyd - Think Floyd, because the band does its level best to create an authentic-sounding experience.

Even a band member is a fan, apparently.

A spokesman said: "This extraordinary band, dubbed by one critic as ‘The Definitive Pink Floyd Experience’, is renowned for its stunning celebration of the music of one of the world's greatest bands.

"Pink Floyd's Nick Mason describes the band as 'brilliant!'

"They are really good" he said.

By anyone's standards, telling praise indeed.

And this year marks the 40th anniversary of The Wall, one of the best-selling albums of all time, and the brand new show features the complete album as well as the whole range of classic Pink Floyd from Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and much more.

The spokesman added: "Think Floyd pride themselves in faithfully recreating Pink Floyd's timeless music. Backed by their dedicated team of sound and lighting engineers and an impressive laser light show, this exciting production will faithfully recreate all the atmosphere, visual magnitude and musical excellence of Pink Floyd live on stage.

"It's no wonder Think Floyd are widely regarded as the UK's number one Pink Floyd tribute show."

Pink Floyd were formed in London in 1965, initially as a psychedelic band.

One of the most successful bands in popular music history, they are known for their extended compositions, innovations and musical prowess.

By 2013, it was recorded that they had sold more than 250 million records worldwide, with The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall two of the best-selling albums of all time.

Think Floyd – Live in Concert will appear at The Swan Theatre in Worcester on Thursday November 7, from 7.30pm.
