THE weather in November isn’t so funny, but having a laugh at The Artrix in Bromsgrove will be easy.

A spokesman said: “The month of November is jam packed with great comedians at Artrix. We’ve got returning favourites Shazia Mirza and George Egg along with new talent from Barnstormers Comedy and much more.

“Kicking off the comedy this month, Shazia Mirza returns with her latest stand-up tour, Coconut on Friday November 15 at 7.30pm. Audiences are advised to strap in for a hilarious and uplifting joyride into the art of survival in a world of crocodiles, coconuts, solitary confinement and alpha males as Shazia takes on the burning issues of our time.”

The spokesman added: “Next, the stand-up who cooks on stage, George Egg returns to The Studio with Movable Feast on Saturday November 16 at 7.30pm. In this show he’s on the road! It’s time for ‘planes, Trains and automob-meals’.

“George demonstrates how to cook with an engine, procure items from the train buffet trolley and turn unexpected road-works into a picnic. Three plates of gourmet food cooked live in the most unconventional ways and with the opportunity to taste the results at the end - provided you can stop laughing!”

Join BBC Radio 4’s cop-turned-comedian Alfie Moore for his latest stand-up tour Fair Cop Unleashed on Thursday November 21 at 8pm.

“Enjoy Alfie’s unique brand of humour hilariously woven together with his personal insights into his life on the front-line of the police force. It’d be a crime to miss it!”

Next up, Sajeela Kershi & Guests present the award-winning show, Immigrant Diaries on Friday November 22 at 7.30pm. Immigrant Diaries is a chance to hear some sublime true stories from a cast of performers from somewhere else.
