POLICE are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a man was killed in crash.

The man in his 50s died after a serious crash in which a car collided with a tree in Hanbury yesterday afternoon.

Inspector Gavin Williams from West Mercia Police said: "While investigations are on-going to establish the circumstances surrounding this accident, we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dash-cam footage of the incident to please come forward.

"Sadly, a man died, we have informed his family, and our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time."

Paramedics were called by the fire service to Goosehill Lane in Broughton Green at 2:56pm yesterday (Monday). An ambulance, paramedic officer, basics emergency doctor from Mercia Accident Rescue Service (MARS) and a critical care car attended but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
