POLICE seized a machete, knives, balaclavas and drugs from a stolen car after a chase – and one man arrested was wanted on suspicion of murder.
Two people were arrested and another released under investigation, following the incident in Droitwich on Wednesday afternoon.
One of the arrested men was wanted by West Midlands Police for attempted murder and drug supply.
West Mercia Police said the three men had cloned a stolen Volkswagen and refused to stop for officers on the M5 after ANPR had flagged up the car.
They drove the wrong way up a dual carriageway in Droitwich and officers followed on the right side of the road. The trio were found running away at Berry Hill Industrial Estate, Droitwich, after their VW crashed into a fence by the railway track.
All three were detained after a foot chase at around 4.55pm on April 1, police said.
