A LORRY driver was spotted using his phone while driving on the M5.
The Worcestershire Operations Patrol Unit announced the lorry had been seen between junction 8 and 7 of the M5.
The driver was using his mobile phone and was stopped by officers.
The WorcsOPU Twitter account said: "M5 8-7 driver seen using his mobile phone whilst driving. Stopped and reported. Simply dangerous in this type of vehicle."
In another incident, a van which was "massively overweight" was also stopped, with its driver found to have no insurance or licence.
The OPU tweeted: "M5 7-8 vehicle stopped as massively overweight.
"Driver didn’t see anything wrong in what they had done.
"Flushed face as they also didn’t hold a driving licence or have insurance."
