WORCESTERSHIRE Royal Hospital was lit up blue on Saturday night to celebrate the 72th anniversary of the NHS and to remember those who have lost their lives to Covid-19.
The 'Lightitblue' campaign pays tribute to NHS staff while a minute silence’s was also held on Saturday night, to remember the victims of the outbreak.
Worcestershire Acute NHS tweeted: “Tonight our hospitals are lighting up blue to mark the #NHSBirthday, as we remember the lives of all those sadly lost to #COVID19”
Downing Street was lit up blue as was the round tower at Windsor Castle as part of the national tribute.
