WITH regards to Malcolm Guest’s latest diatribe in Yourview of November 20, I have to say that his apparent negativity seems to know no bounds.
Although it is clear he has done some homework and makes some valid points, I wonder why he actually chooses to live in Bromsgrove at all.
It would seem that nothing will ever match his utopian vision of the perfect market town.
I have pointed out before that, for many, keeping such buildings as the former Parkside school is absolutely essential to the rebirth of this town – it helps to give people sense of place.
I like Bromsgrove, I like our old – and new – buildings and I, like many others, would like to see at least some of our built heritage protected for future generations.
I also like my glass half full of the locally brewed ale, not half empty.
