HOCKEY: Bromsgrove moved up to second in the West Midlands Division Two as they made it seven wins in a row by seeing off Oswestry 6-3. Goals for George Adams, Rammy Arafa, Bevan Edwards, Tom Jennings, Laurence Shah and Karl Troth made sure of the win.
They are now only two points behind leaders Ludlow.
The Boars resume the season at home to the Shropshire-based table-toppers on Saturday, January 12.
Meanwhile, Droitwich firsts lost 4-1 to Wednesbury, despite Craig Timmis’ consolation strike.
They are bottom of the West Midlands Division One.
