FAIRFIELD Villa are facing a keeper crisis ahead of Saturday’s Midland Combination clash at home to Sutton United (3pm ko).
Villa lost debutant Steve Morris in their victory over Aston in the President’s Cup at the weekend, when he broke two fingers and damaged cruciate ligaments during a freak accident while taking a goal-kick.
His replacement Chris Pratt performed heroics as Villa forced extra-time and after the game ended 2-2, produced two final penalty saves as Fairfield won 4-2.
But Pratt picked up an injury which keeps him out of the Division One clash.
Villa are hoping to draft in a Sunday League keeper to help them out.
