FAIRFIELD Villa have been boosted after striker Connor Collins committed to the club for the rest of the season.
The 31-goal hotshot will finish the campaign at the Recreation Ground outfit.
He had signed dual registration for Conference North side Worcester City before Christmas and had featured four times for the Blues but wanted more regular football.
Joint Villa boss Paul Oakes said: “We are delighted Connor will finish the season with us.
“He’s been a big part of the team and scored two goals to fire us to the Worcester Junior Cup final as well.”
Meanwhile, Ellis Blakemore has signed for Northern League outfit Romulus.
Blakemore, who is also on a dual registration, was set to feature in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Chelmsley but missed out because of illness.
Collins hit the back of the net as Villa earned a handy point away from home.
Oakes said: “I felt it was a good point at not a very easy place to go.”
Villa now take on Paget Rangers at home on Saturday (3pm ko).
