BROMSGROVE Ladies gave a stellar performance to defeat Tenbury 3-0.
Following a goalless first half, which was dominated by the Boars, the goals flowed after the break.
They scored within two minutes of the restart, when a driving right-wing run by Lily Alsop won Bromsgrove a penalty corner and Jo Eddy converted the opportunity.
Two minutes later, they doubled their lead when captain Heather Nunnery fired home from a set-piece.
This second goal demoralised Tenbury and it came as no surprise when Tricky Burton added a third from yet another penalty corner.
“Not many teams come to Tenbury and win so convincingly,” said coach Alan Gormley.
“This is one of the best away performances I’ve seen from a Bromsgrove team."
