SPORTING will look to take a big step towards Wembley when they face Cleethorpes Town in the semi-final first leg of the FA Vase this Saturday.
Bromsgrove continued their march to the national stadium’s famous arch by beating Buckland Athletic 2-0 in the previous round.
Liam Spink converted from the spot on the hour mark before half-time substitute Chris Lloyd doubled their advantage with 15 minutes left.
A two-legged tie against Cleethorpes is all that stands in the way of a final place and once again a bumper Victoria Ground crowd will watch the clash.
Fans unable to get their hands on a ticket will be able to follow the action thanks to the Bromsgrove Advertiser’s live match updates.
We will be live online from 2.30pm with team news before keeping readers up-to-date with all the action from kick-off at 3pm.
