BROMSGROVE travel to top of the table Burton this Saturday for Midlands One West's match of the day.

Third placed Bromsgrove are currently nine points adrift of leaders Burton and the importance of the game isn't lost on head coach Dan Protherough who said: "We have to make sure we prepare properly because this is going to be a real tough game.

"We will need to be 100 per cent on our game because we'll have to fight for every inch of ground.

"We've had some lack lustre performances over the past month and we need to make sure we go to Burton and stamp our authority on the game.

"Burton are a good side and we are under no illusions of the challenge ahead. But we have won 10 of our 12 league games to date this season and we need to make sure we continue that winning form."

Last Saturday's trip to Wolverhampton fell victim to the weather.

Protherough added: "We wanted to play, but the fact it was called off wasn't the end of the world as we have quite a number of players carrying injuries".

And Protherough is already resigned to ruling out back row forwards Tom Hardwick and Jay Martin for the tip to Burton.
