BROMSGROVE Thirds bagged a six wicket win over bottom of the table Malvern in Worcester County League Division Three.

Ben Johnson prised out figures of four for 41 while Freddie Fallows proved equally effective by taking four for 45 as Malvern were removed for 155 all out after 30.5 overs.

Paul Hutchins with 36 and Barry Hope on 40 then got Bromsgrove off to a flying start in reply, taking them to 85 for one at one stage before Matt Anderson added 38 not out as Bromsgrove breezed to a winning 156 for four in the space of 23.4 overs.

Bromsgrove bid to end the season with a bang when they visit Five Ways Old Edwardians this Saturday.
