BROMSGROVE pulled off one of the results of the season after they demolished Midlands One West title favourites Dudley Kingswinford 57-8 in front of an astonished Finstall Park crowd.
Head Coach Dan Protherough said: "It was one of the most satisfying days I can ever remember and certainly one of the best performances I have been involved with.
"We dominated every phase of the game and really stuck it to them.
"As a team effort, it was a fantastic performance.
"Yes, we've had bigger wins, but you have to take into account the quality of the opposition.
"I had loads of texts from people after the game going 'wow'.
"But we've told the lads now that a marker has been put down. We have to back this performance up."
Bromsgrove ran in a total of eight tries with hooker James Gunter, right wing George Amphlett and No.8 Tom Hardwick crossing the whitewash in the first half while scrum-half Adam Whiteman converted twice to lead 19-3.
Bromsgrove then ran riot after break with further tries from centre Ed Spalding, full back Ross Attwood, second row James Martin, prop Ethan Priest and another from Whiteman who also added three conversions, with scrum-half Will Harris landing two more and then kicking a penalty.
Bromsgrove travel to Hereford this Saturday.
