REDDITCH Borough reeled off a second successive 2-1 win when they beat bottom side Bolehall Swifts.

Jak Albutt bagged both goals as Borough climb to eighth place in Total Motion Midland League Division Two.

Borough now turn their attention to cup competitions, kicking off this Saturday when they entertain Inkberrow at the Mettis in the Les James Cup semi-finals.

The winners will face Knowle FC in the final and Borough spokesman Julian Workman said: "It's a massive game and we need all the support we can get."

The match starts at 1.45pm in case extra time and penalties are required.

The following week Borough bid for further cup glory when they travel to Droitwich Spa in the Worcester County Cup semi-finals.

Redditch Borough Ladies swamped Leamington Hibs 8-0 in the Birmingham County Premier Division.

Maddie Dunleavy netted four times, taking her tally to eight in the past two games.

Nicole Butler, Dani Pinford, Natalie Williams and Jay Ellis were also on target.

The result enhances Borough's hopes of promotion as they remain within striking distance of leaders Sutton Coldfield and Starland St Annes from Walsall.
