ALCESTER cantered to an easy 62-24 success over Stratford side Shottery in a friendly fixture.
Guest player Will Bate stole the show by snapping up four tries while Sean Sudworth kicked six conversions.
That was after Shottery had made all the early running and scored a couple of early tries.
Alcester responded with two tries from Matt Ashby while Bate added another.
Two well-taken tries from former Alcester winger Ed Benskin put Shottery back in command as they led 24-17 at the break.
The second half was a different story as Alcester were able to utilise their large squad.
Replacement Josh O'Connor scored before Bate crossed the whitewash on three more occasions.
Alcester guest players impressed, Harry Leek added the seventh try while youngsters Lewis Walker and O'Connor added their names to the scoresheet.
Busy Alcester return to Midlands 3 South West action this week when they travel to Ledbury who are three places above them in the table.
