TOP of the table Bromsgrove travel to Moseley Oak on Saturday where they will be attempting to increase their six point cushion over second-placed Newbold in Midlands One West.
Demanding Bromsgrove head coach Dan Protherough will be insisting on an improvement to recent displays.
He said: "Since Christmas, we've not been at our best and I will be looking for an intensity to our game which the opposition won't be able to live with.
"We've been playing in fits and starts recently and I will be looking for a full 80 minute performance."
Protherough ruled out any possibility of playing on a Friday night and added: "We played Moseley Oak last season on a Friday night when we looked sluggish from the word go and eventually lost the game.
"I know Friday night rugby is becoming a popular trend at the moment, we did one at Droitwich earlier in the season, which wasn't too bad and I can see in some circumstances how it would work. But we'll be giving Friday night rugby a miss as I want my boys to be fresh."
With a weekend break behind them, Bromsgrove should be close to full strength with Ross Attwood likely to return at full-back to face Moseley Oak (2.15pm start).
Protherough also confirmed that wing wizard Josh Holt had 'sacked off' his job as a postman, which was hampering his availability and was now working in the tractor industry.
