STUDLEY will go into the weekend sixth in Total Motion Midland League Two after eclipsing Chelmsley Town 3-1 on Coleshill's 4G pitch.

Sean Brain put Studley ahead with his 19th goal in 13 games before Jamie Clarke cracked home two goals after the break.

"Dropping down a couple of levels and playing regularly has really brought Sean back to his best since arriving from Evesham United."

Edwards also included new central defensive signing Anthony Miller in his starting line-up.

Edwards added: "I spotted Anthony playing Sunday football for Redditch side Black Horse and I liked what I saw. He came in and did extremely well."

Studley host Rocester this Saturday in the Midland League and Edwards will be hoping he can hang onto highly rated Shay Palmer who has been the subject of a seven day approach from Highgate United.
