BROMSGROVE Sporting have bolstered their forward line with the signing of Kyle Perry ahead of the new season.

The experienced striker, 33, names Stafford Rangers, Stourbridge, Tamworth and Altrincham as his former clubs, but now moves to the Victoria Ground to boost the Rouslers' firepower for their assault on the Southern League Central.

Manager Bren Kelly said: “Kyle is a proven goalscorer and a very well respected striker – he will add another dimension to our squad and I’ve no doubt we will need his physical presence in this physically demanding division.

“I’m very pleased he chose Sporting from his various offers and he’s another lad with bag loads of experience, on and off the field, which will help us a lot.”

Perry added: "I’m delighted to be signing for Bromsgrove Sporting for the coming season.

“For me, Bromsgove is a huge football club at this level and I’m excited to be a part of the set up that has achieved so much in recent years.

“I can’t wait to get started and help the club push on. I’m still as hungry and as passionate as ever for success and feel Bren and the lads at the club are in a great position to push on.”

Meanwhile, Sporting have secured the signature of Cameron Peters for the 2019/20 season.

The former Walsall striker is no stranger to Sporting fans, being a familiar face in the club's promotion-winning 2018/19 season.

Kelly said: “Cameron’s ability is there for all to see. He had a stop start season last year, with three loan spells, but he can now call Sporting his home and get his head down, train hard, and score goals."
