A rampant second half display from Coalville Town pushed Bromsgrove Sporting to consecutive league defeats, as the Ravens ran out 4-0 winners.

The teams went into half time level but a capitulation from Bromsgrove after the break led to Coalville taking all three points writes Max Banner.

A Tom Taylor red card was followed by goals for Luke Shaw, Kian Taylor, Billy Kee, and Steve Towers.

Coalville's Joe Doyle-Charles struck well over from range five minutes in and, soon after, Tom Taylor received his first booking for a mistimed challenge on Tom McGlinchey.

The half was fairly devoid of chances - Eliot Putman blazed over from inside the box 27 minutes in and Jordan Goddard struck over from a good position four minutes later.

Two minutes into the second half, Putman was booked for a foul on Joe Willis just outside the box.

However, there were cries from the Sporting bench for him to be sent off, as it did appear as though he may have been the last man. The subsequent free kick was put over the bar by Goddard.

Sporting's afternoon began to go south in the 52nd minute, as Tom Taylor received his second yellow for a tackle on Shaw.

The 54th minute saw Kian Taylor have a shot tipped over brilliantly before Doyle-Charles clattered the bar with a venomous strike.

The opener came eight minutes later, as a Tom Berridge cross across the area was knocked in at close range by Shaw.

It was two in the 65th minute, as a McGlinchey ball to Kian Taylor was slotted home.

The third goal of a dismal five minutes spell came as Kee had the simplest of finishes, tapping in from no more than two yards out.

The game's final goal came five minutes from time, as a cross from Putman was knocked in by captain Towers.

Jamie Molyneux almost scored a consolation for Sporting in the 87th minute, but saw his effort from inside the box blocked.
