A crucial six pointer went the way of Biggleswade Town, courtesy of a George Devine goal 11 minutes into the second half.

Bromsgrove started the game with a flurry of chances, as Jonathan Letford put a diving header from an unmarked position over the bar before Jamie Molyneux had a shot saved by the feet of keeper Josh Hill writes Max Banner.

The 17th minute saw Josh Quaynor unleash a rip-roaring drive from 25 yards that clattered the crossbar.

Liam Smyth struck wide from distance for the visitors in the 33rd minute, whilst Callum Ebanks headed over from close range for Sporting a minute later.

Will Shorrock almost put Bromsgrove ahead late in the half, but his deflected shot was saved.

Harry Lodovica hit the post from inside the box in the 52nd minute, with Quaynor seeing a 35 yard free kick well saved two minutes later.

The goal came in the 56th minute, with Devine bundling the ball home via a goalmouth scramble after keeper Ollie Taylor saved an initial header.

Ebanks had a shot brilliantly saved moments later, and Smyth had two efforts kept out by Taylor up the other end.

Nathan Hayward was sent off for Bromsgrove with six minutes remaining; the final few minutes saw Enoch Andoh miss the target twice and Lodovica have a shot saved in a one-on-one position.
