A replay will be required to split Bromsgrove Sporting and Chelmsford City, after the sides drew 2-2 at the Victoria Ground writes Max Banner.

Callum Jones put the visitors ahead in the 47th minute in the FA Cup third qualifying round before a Conor Tee penalty brought the home side level.

Jones netted again with a little over 10 minutes remaining, but a header from Sporting cult hero Aaron Roberts in added time ensured the match would finish all square.

Chelmsford keeper Josh Oluweyemi had a busy first half, as he produced fine saves to keep out strikes from Tee, Luke Rowe and Miro Pais.

With five minutes of the opening 45 remaining, Sporting keeper Ollie Taylor was equal to a shot from the lively Adam Mills.

The second half started disastrously for Bromsgrove. Firstly, there was the opener, as a Freddie Hockey effort was saved by Taylor, only for Jones to stick in the rebound.

Just three minutes later, Miro Pais was sent off for a two-footed lunge on Luke Jenkins.

However, the 69th minute saw Sporting equalise, as Tee confidently struck home a penalty after Oluweyemi brought down Keanu Cooper in the area.

Chelmsford regained the lead 10 minutes later, as a Mills cross was headed home from point blank range by Jones.

Mo Bettamer and Jermaine Francis had efforts kept out in outstanding fashion by Taylor before the Rouslers levelled in the 92nd minute, as a Tee corner was headed in at the back post by Roberts.

It capped a memorable afternoon for Roberts who played his 250th match for the Club, having appeared in Sporting's first fixture back in August 2010.
