FOOTBALL: Goals have been flying in at both ends during Droitwich Spa's pre-season campaign.
The side began their warm-up fixtures with a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Pilkington XXX.
They followed this up with a 4-3 victory over West Midlands Premier Division side Wrens Nest.
Greg Cooper and Aaron Parr helped themselves to two goals each in the win.
Spa's pre-season continues tomorrow night when they face Malvern Town Reserves.
The Midland Combination Division One club have been handed a boost off the field with the news that they look set to secure use of a new clubhouse.
Droitwich have been working closely with Wychavon District Council with regards to obtaining use of the upstairs of a building currently used by the town's hockey club.
After securing use of the premises, the club will look to raise money for improvements.
Manager Tom Goss said: "The help Wychavon (District Council) have given us has been first class and it shows what you can do if you pull together.
"It is not just for the team now, but for the generations afterwards."
