WARRIORS.

7 van Breda – might be viewed as ‘Mr Versatile’ but full-back appears to be his best position as he produced some neat touches and kicked well.

7 Humphreys – showed great intent from the off and was rewarded with a fine try after a blistering run through the middle.

8 Beck – making his first appearance since last October, the outside centre was excellent in attack, scoring in the corner and playing a part in two other tries.

7 Mills – linked up brilliantly with Beck and got Warriors’ attack flowing with clever play. He also dug in defensively, securing a turnover in the first half.

6 Hammond – had a kick charged down and made a handling error before being forced off after suffering a blow to the head.

8 Lance – fully recovered from the back injury that hampered him last season, the fly-half kicked confidently out of hand and from the tee and was a constant threat with ball in hand.

7 Heaney – a solid display from the scrum-half who created Humphreys’ opening try with a sniping run and did well to quickly shift the ball out wide for Beck to finish.

6 Waller – was quieter than usual in the loose and was penalised at the scrum at the start of the second half before making way for fit-again Bower.

7 Miller – aside from one throw that went awry, the hooker hit his target at the lineout, ran hard and was on hand to power over for his first try for the club.

7 Carey – a strong debut from the Irishman who was powerful up front and pulled off a fine offload to keep an attack alive moments before Hearle’s score.

7 Scott – making his first start for Warriors, the young lock was solid in the air and while there were a couple of inaccuracies in attack he added some grunt to the pack.

8 Kitchener – a destructive display from the ex-Tigers lock who read Leicester’s lineout excellently claiming a few steals and drove forward well too.

9 Hill – was awesome. From the first minute to the last, the flanker gave his all, making some barnstorming runs and did not hold back defensively either.

7 Montgomery – made the odd mistake but was an imposing figure in Warriors’ pack as he carried well and smashed his way over for a close-range score.

7 Van Velze – caused Tigers problems when he got the ball on the flank as his charge to the line led to Hearle’s score and ensured his side stayed on top.
