CAVALIERS.

8.5 Heward – showed some classy touches in attack and refused to let anything pass him by as he put in big hits and stopped Ademuwagun from touching down late on.

8 David – made the odd mistake but was involved in several superb attacking moves and did not stop running as he put Simpson away for the 11th and final try.

8.5 Morris – rarely took a backward step as he often tried to beat his man on the outside, pulled off a fine offload out of a tackle in the lead-up to one try, and put in some meaty tackles too.

9.5 VAN BREDA – a near-perfect performance from the utility back who was unstoppable at times as he intercepted passes, made clean breaks, produced clever kicks and notched 23 points. My man of the match.

9 Fidow – used his incredible foot speed to great effect, scoring a stunning hat-trick with his third the best of the lot as he proved too powerful to stop.

8 Scully – was caught napping by Wolstenholme who took a quick tap before sending Searle through, but the fly-half kept the back-line flowing with good decision making and scored a try.

8.5 Kitto – teamed up superbly with van Breda as he pounced on his grubber kick to score and the pair combined to assist Scully and Fidow for tries in the first half.

8.5 Owen – with Waller facing a possible ban following his red card last Friday, the loosehead put down a marker with an early try and a top scrummaging display.

8.5 Cutting – was alert to pounce on a couple of overthrown lineouts before surging into Wasps’ half while he was also solid at the set-piece.

8 Morris – on a cold night at Sixways, the tighthead turned up the heat in the scrum and was tidy in attack too before being replaced by powerhouse Rinakama.

8.5 Clegg – was excellent in the engine room as Worcester’s forwards got motoring, carried well in the loose and went close to scoring on a couple of occasions.

9 Kitchener – ran the lineout impeccably and demonstrated his devastating defensive ability with a string of huge tackles that shut down Wasps’ attacks.

8.5 Mama – an impressive return to action from the back-rower who continually got beyond the gain-line with powerful carries and produced a superb offload for Fidow’s first try.

9 Cox – was ever present in attack and defence, covering a lot of ground with tireless runs from all areas of the pitch and important tackles.

8.5 Dodd – captaining the team, the number eight led by example as he did not give an inch in defence and kept his energy levels high throughout.
