WORCESTER Warriors lock James Scott has joined Glasgow Warriors on a six week loan.

The former England Under-21 international goes straight into Glasgow’s squad as a replacement for Friday’s Guinness Pro-14 match against Ulster at Scotstoun.

Scott, 21, signed his first full contract with Warriors last summer having graduated from the Three Pears Academy and has made nine first team appearances so far.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for James to get some valuable game time with Glasgow at a time when there is no Premiership Rugby Shield or Premiership Rugby Cup matches being played,” said Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons.

Scott has previously played for Hartpury in the Greene King IPA Championship on a dual registration.
