ACADEMY fly-half Fin Smith will become the youngest ever Premiership starter for Warriors this weekend in their Gallagher Premiership game at Bath Rugby.

Smith, who will be 18 years and 313 days old on Saturday, is a current member of the Three Pears Warriors Academy and will be one of 11 players in the starting side who have come through the club’s academy.

Of the fifteen starters, all are English qualified as a total of 10 changes have been made from the side that lost at London Irish last weekend.

Will Butler returns to the side for the first time since the European Challenge Cup game against Pau and partners Oli Morris in midfield whilst Chris Ashton and scrum-half Gareth Simpson come into the back-line.

A whole new front-row sees tighthead prop Joe Morris make his first start for Warriors having made five appearances off the bench last season. He joins Isaac Miller and Marc Thomas.

Joe Batley moves back into lock and another academy graduate Tom Dodd starts at number eight.

It is a quality looking bench with a lot of starters making up the eight replacements including Francois Hougaard, Billy Searle, Francois Venter, Ethan Waller, Niall Annett and Cornell du Preez.

New loan signing Maks van Dyk, who joined on a short-term deal from Exeter Chiefs midweek, is also on the bench.

As for the hosts, soon to be Worcester players next season are named on the bench as Will Chudley and Christian Judge will look to make an impact as replacements.

The Bath side is full of experience and quality. The pack is unchanged from the side that beat Newcastle last weekend but they welcome Rhys Priestland back tomorrow, as well as winger Will Muir and centre Max Clark.
