WORCESTERSHIRE will be in action against three other first class counties in a mixture of limited overs and red ball cricket during their two week pre-season tour of Abu Dhabi.

The County, who fly out on March 6, will be taking part in a trio of 50 over matches against Somerset, Essex and local rivals Warwickshire.

The games will form part of their preparations for the Royal London One-Day Cup group games which have been brought forward to earlier in the season for 2019.

They will also do battle with Essex in a two day red ball game in the UAE as they look to hone their skills for the opening Specsavers County Championship match against Leicestershire at the Fischer County Ground starting on April 11.

In addition to the competitive action, Worcestershire will have five days of warm weather training before returning to the United Kingdom on March 20.
