Actress Vicki Michelle has said she feared she could have been “blinded” after being hit by a champagne glass during a brawl on Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.

Police are investigating the row at Elstree Studios in north London between American reality TV personality Farrah Abraham and former contestant Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace.

The 64-year-old ‘Allo ‘Allo actress is thought to have been caught in the crossfire after tensions flared when Aisleyne and Farrah traded insults and the live Channel 5 show was taken off air 10 minutes earlier than scheduled.

Vicki said she was hit by a glass allegedly thrown by Farrah.

She told the Daily Mirror: “I’m in complete and utter shock. If I had been looking the other way I could have got it full in the face, she could have blinded me. It was awful.

“She whacked the glass hard like a discus. It was the base of the glass and it shattered in my hair. It was so hard my head went forward and back. It all went off, it was like the OK Corral, it was like being in a Western. I couldn’t believe that was happening on national television.

“It happened in such an instance that the audience went quiet, they were stunned. They couldn’t believe it.”

Vicki, who was checked over by paramedics and later had an MRI scan, said a doctor told her she had suffered concussion and whiplash as a result.

The paper quoted a spokesman for Farrah as saying it was the reality star who had been attacked first and she also needed medical attention.

Meanwhile, Aisleyne tweeted:

A spokesman for Hertfordshire Police said: “Officers are currently making inquiries to establish the exact circumstances of what happened and will release further details when appropriate.”

A Channel 5 spokesman said on Wednesday: “Last night’s Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side was interrupted due to an incident on set. Everyone involved is fine and last night’s events are currently being investigated.”

In the follow-up show, host Rylan addressed the incident, telling viewers that some of the reports about what happened had been “inaccurate”.

According to Digital Spy, he said: “As you may know last night’s Bit On The Side was interrupted due to an incident on set.

“The show did not include those scenes. There’s been a lot of speculation regarding what happened and believe me, a lot of it is inaccurate.

“We wanted to ensure you all that everyone is fine. The incident is being investigated. Just like last night, we carry on!”
